Dubble Bubble

girls stand talking smack
as they stretch their bubblegum
out and gather it back in.

boys glancing around
for hall monitors blowing pink
bubbles as big as cantaloupes.

girl sees boy, boy sees girl
she strolls down the hall
accidently dropping her
Dubble Bubble.
