Written for The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 25 – February 25th – Theme or Word: Cult Form: – Haiku
Note: a cult is “A relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.” In the beginning of Christianity, it was regarded a cult.

Perfect form and meaning ~ Well done ~
Delightful! “Cult” has taken on a pejorative meaning, but it doesn’t have to be. I like the end of this haiku, the “wondering.” I imagine The Twelve were doing a lot of that…
Virgin’s cult
Very beautiful.. well done..
A ha, so this is what a commenter at Becca Given’s sight meant by her haiku for today–a cult indeed was Christianity when those disciples gathered in the upper room again after the crucifixion! Are we still wondering what we are supposed to do next?
Oh, I think so! We wonder what to do next and like the early disciples, some of us hide and some run away and some do.
Nicely ties into the season within our Lenten Journey — very apropos! Here is my Day 25.
Yes! The “upper room” gives a sense of being closeted! The haiku appeals to the feeling we may harbour of cults!
Fantastic!
Perfect…! and just 3 more days to go.. Advance Anniversary wishes..
Feb 29! The perfect day to celebrate!
